Metropolitan Onufriy awarded Alla Landar with the Order of St. Agapit of Pechersk
With the blessing of the Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Onufriy National Member of Ukraine in the World Federation of Funeral Performers (FIAT-IFTA), President of the International Association of Funeral Professionals and Head of Petro the Great, philanthropist, public figure, member of the Community at the Council of Entrepreneurs at the CMU Alla Landar was solemnly awarded the Order of St. Agapit of Pechersk for services to the Church and Ukraine.
The high award of Orthodoxy, the Order of Agapit of Pechersk I degree and the diploma of Alla Landar were presented by the rector of the Church of the Holy Martyrs Cosmas and Damian, Archpriest Volodymyr Tereshchuk. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church rewards them for their devotion to the ministry according to the Gospel covenant.
Alla Landar thanked for the award and emphasized:
"I received the award on the great feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary - an order named after St. Agapit of Pechersk, a selfless doctor and monk who received monasticism in the Kiev-Pechersk Monastery. Shimniks and monks carried in everyday life for centuries the most important Christian performers. spirituality is the meaning of the heart and mind: the mind must pass through the heart and the heart through the mind, for me it is a recognition of the importance of all our work for the benefit of our country and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. our hearts are light and give us new strength and guidance for good deeds for the sake of peace in a united Ukraine. "

After the awarding, Volodymyr congratulated Alla Landar and wished her and the entire staff of the company to continue to do noble and God-pleasing work for the benefit of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, reminding that the Order of Agapit Pechersky is a form of rewarding lay people for their work and merits before Orthodoxy. He said in particular:

Earlier, Alla Landar was awarded the Order of St. Princess Olga by His Beatitude Vladimir (Sabodan) of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, founded by Patriarch Pimen and the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church in 1988 to mark the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Women for the benefit of others.
