Alla Landar and her company of ritual services "Peter the Great" are members of the National Association of Funeral Home Directors of the USA (NFDA)
President of the International Association of Funeral Professionals, National Member of Ukraine in the World Federation of Funeral Directors (FIAT-IFTA), Honored Worker of the Service Sector of Ukraine, Head of the Private Company “Peter the Great” Alla Landar has acquired the status of National Member from Ukraine in the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA).
As it became known, Ms. Debra Zuner, senior representative of the NFDA member services department, sent sincere congratulations to Alla Landar on joining this prestigious and largest association of funeral directors in the world. Along with her, her funeral services company, PF Petro Velykyi, also received certificates.
"We understand the challenges faced by funeral professionals, anticipate the needs of our members, and strive to provide the tools and resources necessary for the successful operation of funeral businesses. We are more than an association. We are an extension of your staff. When you are a member of the NFDA, you belong to the largest network of funeral service professionals in the world," Debra Zuner noted in her letter.
The NFDA holds annual conferences, meetings, and seminars on a wide range of topics, from industry innovation and daily business improvement to marketing and customer service skills.
The importance of this step is that the company has not only gained direct access to the global funeral industry, but will also have direct contacts with global manufacturers, along with a flexible discount system for NFDA members. There are several thousand such members, not only from the US, but also from over 100 countries around the world. This is an opportunity to provide our customers with the best, most advanced, and highest quality products and services today.
This is direct cooperation with the powerful NFDA advocacy team, which is working hard to positively influence national legislation and regulations that directly affect funeral professionals and small businesses in the funeral industry. This is extremely necessary and useful for Alla Landar, including as president of MAPPS, during the preparation of new amendments to the legislation “On Funeral Services in Ukraine.”
NFDA membership offers the widest range of continuing education and professional development options in funeral services on the US association platform. All of them are tailored to market needs in accordance with the personal schedule of each association member and the company's budget.
The NFDA educational program on the organization and operation of green cemeteries will soon begin. It is gratifying that for the first time, a Ukrainian funeral services company and its director will be able to join in the substantive study of this important issue for Ukraine. The relevant article, namely “On Green Ecological Burials,” has been included in the list of amendments and innovations to the new law on funeral services. Along with new sections, such as the opening of private funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematoriums in Ukraine.
“Studying global experience, promoting it, introducing new articles into our legislation, and at the same time widely informing the public through the media and Internet resources is the cornerstone of my work as a representative of Ukraine in global associations,” noted Alla Landar.
